Drunk Cork man dressed himself in €800 worth of clothing from Marks & Spencer and walked out

'It has to come to an end', judge told defendant, who has numerous previous convictions, including 57 for theft

A 50-year-old man with numerous theft convictions has been jailed again for getting drunk and walking out of a shop wearing a stolen suit, and now a judge has told him: “It has to come to an end.” 

The suit was tried on by the drunken man, who also dressed himself in other clothes from Marks & Spencer totalling over €800 in value. A sentence of one month in prison has been imposed on the man, who has 142 previous convictions.
