Gardaí submit supplementary file to DPP on Creeslough explosion

Gardaí have submitted a supplementary file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) on the Creeslough explosion investigation.
Ten people were killed in an explosion at a building complex in the Co Donegal village on October 7, 2022.
The supplementary file is in addition to the primary file submitted to the Office of the DPP in September 2025.
The file includes formal recommendations from An Garda Síochána, as the victims’ families continue to be supported by Family Liaison Officers.
According to a Garda spokesperson, regular family liaison briefings are held, with the most recent taking place on Thursday evening.
Gardaí continue to appeal to any person with any information in relation to the fatal explosion on the October 7, 2022, and for whatever reason may not have spoken formally to An Garda Síochána to date – to please come forward and speak to the Garda Investigation Team now.

"An Garda Síochána continues to remember the 10 deceased: James O'Flaherty, Jessica Gallagher, Martin McGill, Catherine O'Donnell, James Monaghan, Hugh Kelly, Martina Martin, Robert Garwe, Shauna Flanagan Garwe and Leona Harper.," added the spokesperson.
