Man seriously injured in alleged assault in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating after a man suffered serious injuries in an alleged assault in Dublin.
The alleged assault occurred on Portobello Road, Dublin 8, at approximately 6.10pm on Wednesday evening.
A man in his 30s was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, "not believed to be life-threatening at this time".
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who was in the Portobello Road area between 5.30pm and 6.30pm and has information is asked to contact investigating gardaí.
Anyone with camera footage, including mobile phone or dash-cam footage, is asked to make it available to gardaí.
