Dozens of illegal bikes and scramblers seized during major operation

A number of young men were charged after several property searches

Gardaí have seized 44 illegal bikes and scramblers during a major operation in Ballymun.

A coordinated day of action as part of Operation Meacán was carried out in the area yesterday by members of Ballymun Community Engagement, with assistance from the Ballymun Community Response Team, Community Policing Unit, DMR North Roads Policing Unit, Divisional Drugs Unit, Armed Support Units (ASU) and DCC Dog Wardens.
