A 25-year-old man arrested in Ringaskiddy for allegedly stowing away on a ferry during the Christmas holidays was remanded in continuing custody until February 12 as efforts are made to get identification documents from the Vietnamese embassy in Dublin.

Eddie Burke solicitor said: “His documentation is with German police. I have notified the Vietnamese embassy in Dublin. We are trying to get replacement documentation for him.
