A 45-year-old man accused of having over €70,000 worth of drugs stashed in a commercial storage unit at Monahan Road, Cork, in 2024 confessed to the crime on Wednesday.

Andrzej Jasiniecki, who resides at an apartment at Hewitt Hall, Blackpool, Cork, signed a plea of guilty to five counts under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
