Gardaí were accused of making up charges and producing a fake warrant when they went to arrest a young man in Cork City. Cork District Court also heard he verbally abused them threatening to punch their heads off.

25-year-old Dylan Duggan of Cork Simon Community was jailed for a total of eight months in prison for his threatening behaviour and for failing to turn up in court.
