A Cork woman who admitted stealing food from a local supermarket said she did not pay because the items were “overpriced,” the District Court has heard.

Court presenter Sergeant Linda O’Leary told Midleton District Court that Katie O’Driscoll, aged 27, of Prosperous Place, Thomas Davis Street, Blackpool, Cork, entered SuperValu in Midleton with her mother on May 15, 2025.
