Cork motorist who injured garda when he tried to seize his car to be sent forward for trial

Accused was driving an Audi A6, which was stopped at Garda checkpoint.

A book of evidence is being prepared in the case against an Audi A6 driver who allegedly knocked down and injured a member of An Garda Síochána who informed him his car was about to be seized for having no insurance.

On the application of Sergeant Gearóid Davis, the case was adjourned until June 18 by Judge Mary Dorgan, to allow time for preparation of the book.
