Book of evidence served on man charged with raping woman in Cork City apartment

A book of evidence was served on a 27-year-old man accused of raping a young woman at an apartment in Cork City early in January 2022.

Detective Garda June O’Shea served the accused with the book of evidence at Cork District Court. The only charge in the book states that on January 3, 2022, at an address in Cork City he raped the young woman.
