A young woman attending a party at a Cork bar had a pint glass thrown into her face.

A young woman attending a party had a pint glass thrown into her face in a pub leaving her with a permanent mark and now the woman who admitted the attack has been given a three-year suspended sentence.

Judge Dermot Sheehan said: “This was a very serious assault. The result of the assault was a nasty wound to the forehead of the young lady who is left with a nasty scar.
