Gardaí have arrested a man as part of an investigation into an alleged stalking and harassment incident involving Limerick influencer Chloe Koyce in Dublin earlier this year.

Ms Koyce shared details on her social media of an incident in which she was followed to her hotel room by an unidentified man in Dublin in the early hours of Friday, March 21.

In the video, she describes how the man followed her into an unnamed hotel after she left a nearby bar at around 2am.

She said the man, who she believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, entered the hotel lift with her and removed his belt while inside.

He then followed her to her hotel room, where her mother was waiting. The man left via a stairwell after the door was opened.

Ms Koyce said she reported the incident to gardaí.

On Saturday afternoon, gardaí issued a statement saying a man, aged in his 20s, had been arrested following "an alleged incident of stalking/harassment that occurred at a premises on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Friday, 21st March 2025".

The man was arrested in recent weeks by gardaí from Kevin Street Station following a search of a residential property.

He was detained for questioning at a garda station in Dublin and has since been released from custody.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed to the Irish Examiner the two incidents are related and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí said the investigation is ongoing.
