Cork man pleads guilty to robbing 22 lottery scratch cards from shop and attempted robbery of another store

The first count against the accused states that on November 25, 2023, at The Local Shop, Lower Glanmire Road, Cork, he robbed 22 €1 All Cash scratch cards. File picture

A 26-year-old Cork man who confessed to carrying out a robbery and an attempted robbery at shops in the city was given a two-and-a-half-year suspended sentence. 

Dylan Whitley, of Arderrin Way, The Glen, Cork, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to the crimes.
