A 26-year-old Cork man who confessed to carrying out a robbery and an attempted robbery at shops in the city was given a two-and-a-half-year suspended sentence. 

Dylan Whitley, of Arderrin Way, The Glen, Cork, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to the crimes.
