The terror of a car hijacking in Cork City was worsened by the fact that the victim had been on speaker phone to his elderly parents at the time and they heard all of the violent drama unfold as a man jumped on the bonnet of their son’s car and kicked in the windscreen.
Detective Sergeant Eamon Feehan gave evidence of the car hijacking by PJ Field at his sentencing hearing at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
