A 41-year-old man ripped a cash register from the counter of the Bodega pub on Cornmarket Street in Cork, it was alleged in Cork District Court on Friday.

Gavin Miller of Peacock Row, North Monastery Road, Cork, faced a burglary charge in relation to the matter.
