Cork woman who punched garda in nose and bit his colleague's arm avoids jail

Court heard by the age of 21, defendant was drinking a bottle of vodka a day.
A 25-year-old woman drinking at least one bottle of vodka every day from the age of 21 punched a member of An Garda Síochána in the nose and bit another officer’s arm and now she has been given a four-month suspended jail term.
Judge Treasa Kelly said: “It is a very serious matter to bite the garda. They have a very difficult job to do.”
