DPP directions are not yet available because of the absence to date of autopsy results in the case against a 38-year-old man accused of assault causing harm to his grandmother, who died in hospital two days later.

Sergeant John Kelleher said: “Unusually in this case we are awaiting the outcome of a post mortem which is not yet available.”
