A man who threatened a social worker with the words: “I’m going to take your life”, has given €1,500 to charity and been put on a 12-month probation bond.

Sergeant John Dineen confirmed at Cork District Court there had been no further difficulty in respect of the matter, which had been adjourned a number of times.
