A little girl, who it was claimed suffered a burn injury when she got hot glue on her face and hand while at a creche, has settled a High Court action for €60,000.

Lauren Fennelly was only four years of age when it was claimed the incident happened on September 9, 2022. The little girl who is now six years old, the High Court heard, has been left with a visible scar on her left cheek following the incident.
