A man caught in possession of and distributing child sex abuse images in 2022 has expressed remorse and undergone extensive rehabilitation and on Wednesday, after more than a week in custody, he was given a two-year suspended sentence.

Judge Helen Boyle said possession was itself a serious charge but distribution of this material brought it to another level.
