Cocaine, cannabis, speed, and €28,000 in cash found during Garda search of Cork house

Accused admitted being in possession of the drugs for sale or supply and also admitted money-laundering in respect of €28,525 in cash

Gardaí found €7,000 worth of cocaine during search of home in Douglas.

More than €28,000 cash in small denominations was found wrapped in clingfilm bundles at a house in Douglas when gardaí carried out a drugs search and on Monday the culprit was jailed for three years.

The 41-year-old man confessed to dealing cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis, and money-laundering of more than €28,000.
