Two men arrested following €1.4m cocaine seizure in Dublin
Two men have been arrested following a cocaine seizure worth €1.4m in Dublin on Thursday.
Two men have been arrested following a cocaine seizure worth €1.4m in Dublin on Thursday.
Shortly before 5pm, gardaí intercepted two vehicles in the Blanchardstown area of west Dublin.
During the course of the operation, 20kg of cocaine valued at €1.4m was recovered and seized, along with €15,000 in cash.
Two men, aged 53 and 49, were arrested in relation to facilitating and enhancing drug distribution activities for an organised crime group.
They are currently being held at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
