Man terrified Cork woman, 90, by shaking her violently from her sleep during burglary, court told

The burglary of a house where a 90-year-old Cork woman was terrified by an intruder who pulled bedclothes from her at 3am in the morning resulted in a 38-year-old man being remanded in custody on Friday until February 27.

Thomas Murray of 186 Rathpeacon Road, Cork, appeared at Cork District Court by video link from prison.
