Man given probation for making rape threat to garda during disturbance at Cork church

Gardaí went to St Mary’s church on Pope’s Quay in Cork City to investigate a disturbance when churchgoers were being hassled at the door and they encountered one man who threatened to rape the guard’s wife and his mother.
