Man's attempt to stab victim up to 10 times in Cork City 'a badge of honour', court told

The court heard that school-going children were among the members of the public in the area at the time of the incident which was captured on CCTV

Up to 10 attempts were made by a man to stab and slash another man shortly after 5pm in Cork city centre and the investigating detective testified that the accused acted like the attack was “a badge of honour”.

Detective Garda Conor Cronin gave evidence at Cork District Court in the prosecution objection to bail being granted to Aaron Bohane who is charged with assault causing harm to Gavin Sheehan at Oliver Plunkett St, and producing a bladed weapon.
