Up to 10 attempts were made by a man to stab and slash another man shortly after 5pm in Cork city centre and the investigating detective testified that the accused acted like the attack was “a badge of honour”.

Detective Garda Conor Cronin gave evidence at Cork District Court in the prosecution objection to bail being granted to Aaron Bohane who is charged with assault causing harm to Gavin Sheehan at Oliver Plunkett St, and producing a bladed weapon.
