During the searches, gardaí seized one motorbike, which was believed to have been stolen in October, six high-powered electric motorbikes, six e-bikes, and 20 e-scooters.

Gardaí targeting modes of transport suspected of being linked to criminal activity have seized 33 motorbikes, e-bikes and e-scooters during a day of action in Dublin.

Twenty-four properties were searched on Tuesday on foot of warrants in the Dublin region as part of Operation Meacán.
