Cork man who had heroin in Kinder egg punched garda in the eye

Testimony was given at Cork Circuit Criminal Court in relation to two separate incidents involving the accused

 A detective garda was punched in the eye and injured by a man with a stash of heroin in a Kinder egg capsule who was trying to get away from gardaí.

Cian Walsh, aged 37, of The Borough, Maryborough Hill, Cork, signed the pleas of guilty to charges of possession of Diamorphine (heroin) and having the drug for the purpose of sale or supply at Maryborough Hill on April 23.
