High Court upholds US court decision to annul couple's marriage due to stress of covid restrictions
Shortly after the marriage in 2020 Mr Justice John Jordan said there was 'a complete and irreversible breakdown in the relationship'.
A young couple who tied the knot in Ireland and separated within the space of a few months during the covid-19 pandemic have had their marriage annulment in the US upheld by the High Court here.
Mr Justice John Jordan upheld a decision by a court in the US which annulled the couple's Irish marriage because they had not entered into it with the requisite mental capacity due to the stress of the covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
