Two released after being questioned over discovery of man's body in Co Wexford

Two people have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body in Co Wexford earlier this year.

Two people questioned about the death of a man in Wexford have been released without charge.

The man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s were released on Monday night having been questioned about the death of a man in his 40s in Gorey on July 21. 

They had been held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The victim's body was discovered shortly before midday on July 21, at a residence in the Clonattin area.

The investigation is currently being led by a senior investigation officer, and gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
