Charleville man caught with stash of cocaine gets suspended sentence

The drugs were seized on October 23, 2021, at the defendant’s home and he went on to plead guilty to a charge of possessing the cocaine for sale or supply.

A €12,000 stash of cocaine was located during the search of a house in Charleville three years ago but since that time the man responsible for the drugs has completely turned his life around.

This was the submission made on behalf of 28-year-old Macdarragh O’Brien of Holycross Place, Charleville, County Cork, at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
