Two due in court charged in connection with death of Gerard Kennelly in Kerry

Two people are due in court over the fatal stabbing of a 44-year-old man in Co Kerry earlier in the year.

Gerard Kennelly died after being fatally injured in a stabbing incident in the village of Knockanure near Listowel on May 27.

A woman in her 20s arrested on Wednesday in connection with fatal assault has since been charged.

She is expected to appear before Listowel District Court on Thursday morning at approximately 10.30am.

A man in his 30s will also be brought before the courts to be charged this morning. 

He will appear before Listowel District Court at approximately 10.30am.
