Cork woman accused of breaching safety order by throwing brother's clothes out on road

The defendant’s brother spoke up a number of times during the in-camera hearing where the parties cannot be identified because it relates to an alleged breach under the Domestic Violence Act.

A 39-year-old woman was brought before Cork District Court for allegedly putting her older brother in fear by throwing his clothes out on the road outside the family home.

Garda John Kerins said gardaí were opposed to bail being granted to the accused because of concerns that she would breach the safety order again against a background where it is alleged that she has breached it twice so far this month.
