Thousands of euro worth of designer sunglasses were stolen from opticians in Cork City by a young Bandon man, who has now been jailed for six months.

Judge Mary Dorgan said: “This is a guy who is not stealing €20 worth, he is stealing high end. He is stealing an awful lot of sunglasses. And he needs to cop on.
