The case against a 61-year-old man charged with dangerous driving causing the death of an eight-year-old boy more than a year ago in Carrigaline asked for an adjournment to consider the voluminous prosecution file.

Garda Dinah Birnbaum charged John Moynihan of Parkanillane, Kilnamartyra, Macroom, County Cork, last month with dangerous driving at Cork Road, Carrigaline, County Cork, causing the death of eight-year-old André Ladeiro on August 12, 2023.
