Sixth arrest in relation to harassment of Taoiseach
Wicklow detectives are leading the investigation into the protest which happened outside the Taoiseach's Greystones home where he lives with his wife and children.
A sixth person has been arrested by gardaí in relation to alleged harassment of Simon Harris after a demonstration outside the Taoiseach's home last May.
The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on Tuesday for alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences against the Person Act.
It relates to events outside the Taoiseach's home in Co Wicklow, where he lives with his wife and children, on May 2.
The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in Co Wicklow.
He has since been released without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
"Investigations ongoing," a garda spokesperson said.
