Man arrested after €200k worth of cannabis seized in Dublin

A man has been arrested following the garda seizure of €200,000 worth of cannabis in Dublin.

Gardaí attached to the Coolock Drugs Unit uncovered and seized the drugs after stopping and searching a vehicle in Dublin 17 on Friday 

The drugs will now undergo analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.

The arrested man, who is aged man 40s, is currently detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin area under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

A garda spokesperson said investigations ongoing.
