Initially, the judge considered giving the defendant a two-month jail term but following defence submissions, she said she would imposed a longer sentence but suspend it. 

A young Galway woman causing a drunken disturbance in Cork City identified herself to gardaí with the name and address of another Galway woman — an offence described as nasty by the sentencing judge.

20-year-old Sinead O’Brien, of 77 An Sean Bhaile, Doughiska, Galway, appeared at Cork District Court where she pleaded guilty to giving gardaí a false name and address and being drunk and a source of danger to herself or others at the time.
