A Danish national lashed out at staff of Sheila’s Hostel on Wellington Road when he and his pregnant fiancée tried to get back into the premises while visiting Cork for a friend’s 40th birthday party.

They were refused entry because they did not have the slip with which they were issued earlier to show they were residents at the premises on that night.
