Two men, 30s and 70s, due in court over Dunmanway assault

Two men are due in court in connection with a serious assault which occurred in West Cork on Saturday.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, were taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital (CUH) after they were both reportedly stabbed in an incident in Dunmanway at around 7pm yesterday evening.
Gardaí later arrested two men, one in his 30s and another in his 70s, in connection with the assault.
They have since been charged and are due to appear before a sitting of Bantry District Court on Monday afternoon at 2pm.
The scene of the incident was examined by a Garda Forensic Investigation team on Sunday, and gardaí say investigations into the matter are ongoing.
