Man charged over fatal assault in Tallaght

Gardaí were called to the scene at the Drumcairn Estate where they found a man with injuries on Friday morning. 

A man has been charged in relation to the fatal assault of a man in Dublin in the early hours of Friday morning. 

Gardaí were called to the scene at the Drumcairn Estate in Tallaght where they found a man with injuries. 

He was then taken to Tallaght Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. 

A man in his 30s who was arrested on Friday has since been charged by gardaí. 

He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Saturday afternoon. 

Earlier on Saturday, gardaí made a second arrest in connection with the investigation. 

The woman in her 30s remains in Garda custody.
