Man, 50s, charged after €9m drug and cash seizure in Dublin

A man has been charged following the seizure of over €9m worth of suspected illegal drugs and cash.

A garda operation carried out on Friday evening at a property  in The Ward in Dublin 11 saw the seizure of drugs worth over €8m including cocaine, cannabis, ketamine, LSD, and MDMA. 

Over €1m worth of cash was also seized.

A man in his 50s has since been charged by gardaí in relation to the seizure. 

He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Monday morning.
