Ross Lahive charged with public order offence

Prominent political protester Ross Lahive, who ran without being elected in the recent local authority elections, was before Cork District Court charged with engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to lead to a breach of the peace.
Ross Lahive, aged 44, of Church Street, Shandon Street, Cork, is charged with the count under the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act.
