A middle-aged woman declared that her ex-husband continued to terrify her mentally even though he is barred from going near her for three years.

“I’m actually terrified of him, to be honest,” the woman testified at an in-camera hearing of Cork District Court to deal with cases under the Domestic Violence Act. Parties to such cases cannot be identified.
