Drunk Cork woman walked in front of traffic during row with friend on 30th birthday

Accused pleaded guilty to engaging in threatening behaviour and being intoxicated to such an extent that she was a danger to herself or others

A woman celebrating her 30th birthday had so much to drink that she walked out in front of traffic in a row with her friend on Ballyhooley Road in Cork.

On Friday, a judge dealing with the case told her: “It wasn’t the best way to celebrate your birthday.”
