Extended footage filmed by MTV crew played at Lyra McKee murder trial

The New IRA claimed responsibility for the author’s death.

Paul McIntyre, 56, is one of three people charged with the journalist’s murder in April 2019. 

Extended footage filmed by an MTV crew in Derry on the day journalist Lyra McKee was shot has been played at her murder trial.

Ms McKee, 29, died after being hit by a bullet as she stood close to police vehicles while observing rioting in the Creggan area of Derry on April 18 2019.
