Teenager arrested after 'incident' which saw flight to Tenerife diverted to Shannon

Gardaí have arrested a man after a woman was assaulted during an "incident" aboard a flight which had to be diverted to Shannon Airport. 

Shortly after 5:30pm on Wednesday, gardaí were alerted to reports of a disturbance on a flight from Glasgow bound for Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
