A young man woke at night to see a stranger in the house and on Friday a 36-year-old man was brought before Cork District Court charged with burglary.

Detective Sergeant Kieran O’Sullivan objected to bail being granted to Don Duggan, originally from 65 Ballinderry Park, Mayfield, Cork, on the charge of carrying out that burglary at Old Youghal Road, Cork, at around 3am on Thursday, April 4.
