Garda probe after man left in critical condition following Dublin assault
One of the men has been taken to Tallaght Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
Gardaí have launched an investigation following a serious assault in Dublin on Saturday night, which left two men hospitalised.
Two men, believed to be in their late 20s, were assaulted outside a house in the Grange View Way area of Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:15pm.
One of the men has been taken to Tallaght Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The second man is also receiving medical treatment. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
The scene is closed off before a technical examination takes place.
"No arrests have been made at this time," a Garda spokesperson said.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Gardaí are particularly looking to speak with anyone who was in the Tower Road area of Clondalkin between 9:30pm to 10:15pm, anyone who was traveling on the number 13 bus between Clondalkin and Bawnogue between 9:45pm and 10:15pm and anyone who was in the Grange View Way area of Clondalkin between 10:00pm and 10:30pm.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
