Teenager arrested in connection with €88k drug seizure in North Kerry

Investigations are ongoing.

A man, aged in his late teens, was arrested and is currently detained at a Garda Station in Co Kerry under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the seizure of approximately €88,000 of herbal cannabis in Listowel on Thursday afternoon.

The discovery was made as part of a joint operation involving An Garda Síochána and Revenue Customs Service, alongside the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit.
