More than €2m worth of cigarettes seized by Revenue officers in Wexford

The Richmond-branded cigarettes have a retail value of approximately €2,010,000, representing a potential loss to the exchequer of more than €1,582,000, Revenue said

Approximately 2.4 million cigarettes with an estimated retail value of over €2m were seized by Revenue officers in Co Wexford on Monday.

The cigarettes were discovered by Wexford gardaí following searches of a yard in Gorey.
